God Is Calling!

Prayer and communion with God is the most important thing in our life!
There are two important ways we stay connected with God that is prayer and the Word of God. Yes, it is very important to do things for God but that is when we know what to do. Yet prayer and the Word are essential in our lives.

I believe God is calling us to that solitary place with Him. There was a woman by the name Madam Guyon. She lived in France in 16th century. For her bold faith in Christ she was put into prison where she died later. There was no one to talk to or to occupy herself with things to do or anything to ever get excited about.

Yet she became the happiest person on earth because of her deep fellowship with God in prayer and His Word. For her, the cell had become as heaven and the timeless opportunity to be in the presence of her Master.

We do not need to go to jail to find the time to commune with our Lord. All we need to do is become passionate and desire to be in His presence more than anything else in our lives! If we would do so, then our lives would be charged with God’s glory again and we could run the race with victories!

In 2 Corinthians 13:14 we read, “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.”

Friends, let us come back to the commitment to our precious Lord and Savior; to seek His face always, to fellowship with Him in prayer and Word!

May the Lord Himself help us to do so! In Jesus name! Amen.
