The Ministry of Jesus. We believe for nothing less but a great move of God upon our lives. When you look in the Bible you see two ministries in the Gospels. The ministry of John the Baptist and the ministry of Yeshua, Jesus. Both ministries are from God and are powerful. Yet, we see the distinction between them. John was preaching repentance, where Jesus was releasing the answer. John the Baptist’s ministry was only to bring people to Jesus and prepare the hearts to receive Him. Whereas the ministry of Jesus brought the power with salvation. Why I am comparing these two is because today so many of us are still walking in the ministry of John the Baptist. We lead people to the Messiah and there we stop. Jesus came with answers to our problems not only in a theological sense but also in a practical one. He, by Himself, has conquered the devil and all his evil works so that we may go and possess the promises of God in practical way. In 1 Cor. 1:4-9 Paul says, “I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given to you by Christ Jesus, that you were enriched in everything by Him in all utterance and all knowledge, even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you, so that you come short in no gift, eagerly waiting for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ”.
Looking at this covenant we can surely say we have complete victory and absolutely no luck. All we need to do is to stand upon these promises and put them into practice by faith. All we must do and let me repeat it again, MUST DO, is go on and possess everything God has for us in this life! It doesn’t really matter whether it is our health, family, rights, possessions or whatever else it might be! God said in Mathew 5 that we, His children are the possessors of heaven (v.3) and earth (v.6). We are the once who receive comfort (v.4). We shall be filled with God’s righteousness (6), obtain mercy (v7), shall see God (v.8), shall be called sons of God (v.9) and ours is the kingdom of heaven (v.10).
Friends, the world is dying in their sin and we must go with the message and the power of God just like Yeshua did to help everyone out and bring them to the light out of darkness. This mandate is yours and mine, let’s go and do it! Therefore do not be discouraged, greater is He who is in you then he who is in the world! Let God’s anointing be increased upon each and every one of us to continue bringing healing to this world! God bless you. Shalom! Rabbi Gennady. |
